academic achievements

Long before the publication of Shield Maiden, I published a lot in my field of study and expertise--early modern literature and Shakespeare. My academic work has been published throughout the world in some of the finest journals, and I have given presentations on my work in Germany, Ireland, England, Puerto Rico, and across the United States. You can find my academic writing at my Academia.edu page.
Traversing Monstrosity: Perilous Women and Powerful Men upon Shakespeare's Roads
"Where the devil should he learn our language?": Shakespeare's Territorial Linguistics
" Thou Map of Woe " : Mapping the Feminine in Titus Andronicus and King Lear
Playing God: The Landscape of Resurrection in Romeo and Juliet
Shakespeare and the Landscape of Death: Crossing the Boundaries of Life and the Afterlife
Straddling Genres: McKillip and the Landscape of the Female Hero-Identity
